"To forgive is to set a prisoner free and discover that the prisoner was you." - Lewis B. Smedes

Forgiveness is a transformative and immensely powerful tool for personal growth and healing. It is an act that liberates the soul from the shackles of anger and resentment. It invites us to lay down our grudges and embrace a path of peace, a journey toward a future free from the burden of negativity. With forgiveness, we open our hearts to new possibilities, transcending the limitations of the past and healing our wounds. It takes courage to forgive, a willingness to let go and see the world with different eyes. But the rewards are sweet, a harmony that resonates within us, restoring relationships and fostering growth.

However, while we often associate forgiveness with those closest to us such as friends, family members, and coworkers, it is crucial to extend forgiveness to wider circles of entities, including schools, the state system, politicians, perceived enemy nations, religious groups, and even God.
While we often associate forgiveness with those closest to us such as friends, family members, and coworkers, it is crucial to extend forgiveness to wider circles of entities.
Forgiving larger entities may seem daunting, but it is an essential step toward inner peace and growth. These entities, though seemingly distant and out of our control, are actually a part of our inner being, representing our innermost structures. By truly and completely forgiving them, we reintegrate these parts of ourselves and take full responsibility for our lives. After all, the holographic principle suggests that our inner being and consciousness are mirrored and reflected in the outer reality of our life.
Forgiving External Layers of Reality

Forgiving the school system, for instance, could mean letting go of negative experiences and emotions towards the school itself or the education we received. Perhaps we felt that the system was not up to par or did not meet our expectations. Perhaps we were often bullied in our classroom or experienced a lot of disappointment from some of our classmates. But we should be aware of the fact that the school system has gradually developed through centuries by many unconscious people. Moreover, most of the teachers and classmates were pretty much unconscious and were behaving as they had been taught and raised. They could not do anything differently. By forgiving the school, the teachers, bullies, and friends from the school, we can release a lot of hidden anger, resentment, shame, and other suppressed emotions, and heal important aspects of our inner child.

Forgiving the state system "that we were victims of" involves accepting its faults and choosing to let go of all related negative emotions. It means moving forward with understanding and compassion. This form of forgiveness requires deep self-reflection and the willingness to view the situation from a wider perspective. In order to forgive the state system, it is essential to work on our deeply ingrained victim mentality, and to keep the awareness that we must take full responsibility for our life.

Forgiving mean politicians can be a challenging task, as it often requires us to let go of negative feelings towards individuals who have a significant impact on our lives, sometimes in an apparently malevolent way. However, we must see that they are also beings prone to all human faults, perhaps raised by unconscious parents and hurt many times during early childhood. Perhaps you are familiar with the common saying, "Hurt people hurt people." This adage recognizes that the source of many problems is a person's past pain and trauma.

By forgiving people like malevolent politicians, we are forgiving the shadow parts of mankind, the deepest levels of our unconscious minds. Moreover, we are moving beyond political divisions and contributing to a better future for this world.

The same stands for perceived enemy nations. Forgiving them is a significant step towards our inner peace. Releasing any anger or hatred towards other nations and focusing on understanding and compassion means that we are recognizing and transforming our deepest layers of pride and resentment. By doing so, we are erasing invisible boundaries between the basic subconscious aspects of our being, not to mention that we are moving beyond external divisions and working towards a future of peace and understanding for all humanity.

Forgiving God

Some people subconsciously regard God as an entity that exists on the outermost edge of our reality. However, it could be argued that He is, in actuality, the very core of our being. It is therefore crucial for us to relinquish any ill feelings or animosity toward Him. But the question remains - how can this be achieved?

Forgiving God is an intricate journey that differs from person to person. However, gaining insight into certain aspects of God can be useful in navigating this process. First and foremost, recognizing that God has bestowed upon us the freedom to make our own choices requires taking responsibility for the outcomes of those decisions. Secondly, acknowledging that God's love for us is unconditional, implies that He will lead us down a path that is in our best interest, even if we fail to grasp His motives. Believing that God is omniscient and that He knows what is best for us necessitates having faith that in challenging times, there is a purpose and plan beyond our comprehension. Lastly, taking full responsibility for our lives involves accepting the consequences of our actions and acknowledging our ability to shape our own fate. This also entails acknowledging that external circumstances are projections of our inner selves.

Forgiving God requires acknowledging these facets of His nature and intentions, while also recognizing that our resentment may have stemmed from misunderstanding His ways and our responsibilities. By striving to gain a deeper appreciation and acceptance of God's will, we can find tranquility and healing in our relationship with Him.

Why Is Forgiving Outer Circles So Important?

Forgiving the wider circles of entities and groups that we encounter in life also represents facing and releasing our innermost layers of the subconscious mind. These entities, such as the state system, politicians, various organizations, and even God, may seem distant and beyond our reach, but they are actually deeply intertwined with our being. By forgiving these larger entities, we are addressing and releasing the negative emotions and experiences that are buried within our subconscious. This act of forgiveness is a transformative process, allowing us to reintegrate these parts of ourselves into the wholeness of our being and achieve a sense of inner peace. In this way, forgiving the wider circles of our lives is not just about letting go of external issues, but also about facing and releasing our own hidden struggles and limitations.

The wider circles of entities and groups that we interact with are mirrors of our own suppressed emotions, beliefs, and other aspects of our personality. These entities are all reflections of our shadow parts. By forgiving them, we are essentially reintegrating our suppressed emotions, beliefs, and personality traits into the wholeness of our being.
The wider circles of entities and groups that we interact with are mirrors of our own suppressed emotions, beliefs, and other aspects of our personality.
Forgiveness is a key tool for personal growth and healing. It is a process that requires deep self-reflection and a willingness to view the world from a wider perspective, but the benefits are invaluable.

So, embrace forgiveness and allow yourself to experience the peace and growth that comes from letting go and moving forward with understanding and compassion.
